Curious Spike in Stats for Plugged In

Plugged In is not the most visited blog on the Internet by far but I do have my modest share of viewers.  For the last few months I have been averaging around 75 hits a day.  This may not seem like a lot to some of you but to me it is pretty cool. 

Along the way with my meager 75 daily hits I do have the occasional heavy traffic day.  Up until a few days ago the most hits I had in one day was 239.

That was until the last two days.  Yesterday I checked my stats after a weekend away from the computer and was shocked to see that I was quickly approaching 300 hits for the day.  In fact I ended the day with 295 hits.  I thought it was strange but pretty cool at the same time.

After I got home today I was again shocked to see my stats way above normal.  As of just a few moments ago my stats showed a whopping 382 hits for the day.

I am almost sure that this sudden popularity won’t last but it is fun for the time being.
