Clean Hands and a Pure Heart

I was at a prayer meeting on campus tonight and was stirred in my spirit.  I know that the Lord is calling His bride into the ministry of intercession.  He is wanting His bride to contend for His presence and His power to be released.  I was also reminded of the verse in the Psalms where David asks the question, "Who can ascend the hill of the Lord?" and then he answers it with the statement, "He that has clean hands and a pure heart."

I think the Lord is giving a gift to His bride to get her ready.  The gift is the revelation of sin in her life.  When the bride realizes she does not have clean hands or a pure heart it is actually the grace of God.  God longs to bring cleansing and healing to His bride.  He longs to see her clothed in pure white.

The Lord longs for her to walk in purity and holiness and he is ready to empower her to walk in those things.  He is ready to empower each one of us to walk in victory.  His desire is to meet with us in the place of intercession and through the sacrifice of Jesus we are able to stand with clean hands and a pure heart before our God.

My heart is encouraged.  The call is going forth to the bride.  Arise, look into the eyes of the bridegroom.  Let Him prepare you for the wedding feast.  Let Him give you the spotless garment of His righteousness.  Come and enter into the ministry of intercession with Him before the thrown of almighty God.  The time is now.  The Spirit is calling.  Will you answer Him and let Him give you clean hands and a pure heart.  Will you let Him empower you to walk in purity and Holiness before the Father.

Prayer:

Jesus, I hear your call to walk in holiness and purity before you.  Cleanse me Lord, for I am a man of unclean lips and I come from a people of unclean lips.  Set your word, like a burning coal, in my mouth that I might proclaim your Gospel to all that I can.  Jesus send revival to Texas Tech.  God I ask you to awaken your bride.  Call her out of slumber.  Awaken her from sleep.  Let her experience your presence.  Let her know your voice and anoint her to intercede before the throne of Almighty God.  I ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
